r., po sowieckiej agresji na Polsk\u0119, w niewoli znalaz\u0142o si\u0119 oko\u0142o 250 tys. polskich je\u0144c\u00f3w, w tym ponad 10 tys. oficer\u00f3w Wojska Polskiego. <\/span><\/strong><\/p><p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">5 marca 1940 roku na najwy\u017cszym szczeblu sowieckich w\u0142adz zapad\u0142a decyzja o wymordowaniu polskich je\u0144c\u00f3w wojennych z oboz\u00f3w w Kozielsku, Starobielsku i Ostaszkowie oraz Polak\u00f3w przetrzymywanych w wi\u0119zieniach NKWD na obszarze przedwojennych wschodnich wojew\u00f3dztw Rzeczypospolitej. <\/span><\/strong><\/p><p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">3 kwietnia 1940 r., po trwaj\u0105cych miesi\u0105c przygotowaniach, rozpocz\u0119to likwidacj\u0119 obozu w Kozielsku, a dwa dni p\u00f3\u017aniej &#8211; oboz\u00f3w w Starobielsku i Ostaszkowie. <\/span><\/strong><\/p><p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Przez nast\u0119pnych sze\u015b\u0107 tygodni Polacy wywo\u017ceni byli z oboz\u00f3w do miejsc ka\u017ani.
