Konsekwentnie prowadzona polityka upowszechniania czytelnictwa oraz kszta\u0142towania i wzmacniania nawyku czytania we wszystkich grupach wiekowych jest jednym z filar\u00f3w polityki kulturalnej pa\u0144stwa. To s\u0105 dzia\u0142ania d\u0142ugofalowe, kt\u00f3re wymagaj\u0105 cierpliwo\u015bci, konsekwentnej pracy u podstaw. Ich efekt\u00f3w nale\u017cy oczekiwa\u0107 w\u00a0perspektywie wieloletniej. Od pocz\u0105tku XXI w. obserwujemy w Polsce bardzo niepokoj\u0105cy spadek czytelnictwa. Na przestrzeni ostatnich kilku lat uda\u0142o si\u0119 jednak ten negatywny trend zahamowa\u0107, a w 2019 i\u00a02020 r. Polacy zacz\u0119li nawet czyta\u0107 nieco wi\u0119cej. Te dane uzasadniaj\u0105 potrzeb\u0119 kontynuowania NPRCz, poprzez kt\u00f3ry chcemy u\u0142atwia\u0107 dost\u0119p do ksi\u0105\u017cek i pokazywa\u0107 korzy\u015bci p\u0142yn\u0105ce z czytania<\/em><em>. Narodowy Program Rozwoju Czytelnictwa 2.0 jest odpowiedzi\u0105 na potrzeby i oczekiwania bibliotek publicznych, szkolnych i pedagogicznych oraz ich u\u017cytkownik\u00f3w&#8221; \u2013<\/em> podkre\u015bla <strong>prof.
